The Latest Anti-Aging Procedures with No Recovery Time

Most people think that the only way to turn back the years is through invasive surgical procedures. That simply isn’t true.

The Newest Anti-Aging Procedures With No Recovery Time

The newest anti-aging procedures don’t require you to go under the knife and involve little to no recovery time. Many men and women undergo these procedures to restore that youthful glow.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers provide immediate results in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, as well as fill in deep folds under the skin. These fillers are made from a variety of materials, such as the following:

  • Collagen – Collagen is the traditional dermal filler, though nowadays hyaluronic acid, such as Restylane and Juvederm, is more popular, as it promotes collagen growth and thus creates a permanent anti-aging effect.
  • Synthetic fillers – Synthetic fillers such as Radiesse can last for as long as 18 months.
  • Fat grafting – In fat grafting, your own body fat is extracted, processed, and injected into certain areas of your face. This type of filler can last for up to five years.

Botox

Muscle relaxers such as Botox temporarily paralyzes the muscles, which gives your face a smooth appearance. Though the effects may take a few days to kick in, it will last you a good few months – and even longer, if you pursue continued treatment.

Liquid Facelift

In a liquid facelift, dermal fillers are used along with Botox to help relax the skin and fill in wrinkles, as well as plump up the face. With a liquid facelift, you reduce the sagging of the skin and reshape drooping facial features by filling them in from the inside. The use of both dermal fillers and Botox make for longer lasting results.

Skin Treatments

Chemical Peel

In chemical peel treatments, exfoliating chemicals such as lactic acid, glycolic acid, or trichloracetic acid are applied to the skin, sloughing off dead skin cells. Stronger concentrations of the chemicals may result in the formation of new skin and in the stimulation of collagen production.

Chemical peels reduce fine lines, discolorations, small scars, sun-damaged skin, and wrinkles. The stronger the peel, the more pronounced the results.

Derma Rolling

During derma rolling, a cylinder covered in small needles is rolled over your skin. Also known as micro-needling or percutaneous collagen induction therapy, this procedure stimulates collagen production by slightly damaging your skin. It has been used for treating acne scarring, wrinkles, and fine lines.

Sometimes, this treatment can be combined with radio frequency energy to create a better effect. Radiofrequency energy has been used for skin tightening since 2001 and is a time-tested skin care technology.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion involves using fine crystals to exfoliate the face and remove dead skin cells. It greatly helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves skin texture. Best of all, other than some swelling and redness, it has no undesirable side effects.

Which is Right for Me?

These non-invasive treatments require little to no recovery time. Still, it’s important to know and understand what each of these treatments entails so that you are informed when you’re choosing which treatment you want to undergo.
